Today we present a new Master of Matcha: Hans Ovando (MMAC2008) a Pastry Chef who studied at Escuela de Hostelería Hofmann, in Barcelona, and who has learned hand by hand with some of the best professionals and pastry chefs in Spain: Carles Mampel (Bubó), Miquel Vives (Casa Vives), Solé Graells or El Bulli Restaurant. In 2011 he started his international career in Kuwait, where he worked at the project I love Food, related with pastry, gourmet and restaurants. Actually, he’s an Executive Pastry Chef at the 5* Grand Luxe Hotel St. Regis Qatar. For him the keys to obtain the best pieces in pastry are: a spectacular look, the best raw materials, lots of hours and to put your heart in each piece.
