Our new products with MIZUHIKI design

This year, we launched the following new products with new design with Mizuhiki.

Mizuhiki (水引) is a Japanese traditional decorative cord and it is attached to celebratory gifts. There are a lot of different designs and a variety of combination of colours and you can express your thoughts using different Mizuhiki to the person whom you are going to gift.

Mizuhiki may just look like Japanese-style design but it is more than that. Different from Western-style wrapping and ribbons, Mizuhiki incluides the feeling of the gift-giver.

Recently, Mizuhiki designs are used for accessories and small goods as beautiful craft design. The color variation is also increasing. Japanese people love this traditional and sophisticated design.

We used this Mizuhiki design for our new tea labels. By using Mizuhiki, we wanted to send our message to our customers:  we wish you good luck and we wish that Mizuhiki will connect you with The Matcha House.
