SAKURACHA 100G 桜茶
SAKURACHA is a traditional Japanese tea. It is a simple infusion that is made with cherry blossom petals and flower buds and hot water.
It is very beautiful tea and its taste is mildly salty and with a Sakura floral aftertaste and plum undertones. A transparent pink expands in the cup revealing a flowery aroma with hints of the sea. This tea is made by preserving cherry blossoms in salt and plum vinegar. Its salty taste is common in Japan and the tea is most often used for celebrations and special occasions.
SAKURACHA is also the gorgeous ingredient for cooking. This special and delicate ingredient gives a very elegant impresion to your creations. In Japan, SAKURACHA is used for WAGASHI (Japanese traditional sweets), YOGASHI (Occidental sweets) and salty dishes.
We, THE MATCHA HOUSE, introduced this tea in 2015 to Europe and since then, this ingredient has been loved by a lot of top chefs in Europe. This year, we would like to introduce this product again in our Online Shop too.
