Award-winning Kabusecha
A Happy New Year! How was your New Year holidays? We had 6 days holiday and we had very relaxed days. Yesterday was the first working day after holidays. Preparing many orders that we had received during holidays one by one, we felt happiness that we are able to continue this tea business. Due to the influence of coronavirus, there are more restrictions than usual, but we truly feel that it is our happiness is that our customers choose our tea and enjoy it.
By the way, on the 1st January, we enjoyed the best Kabusecha from Kyoto Ujitawara. This tea was a gift from our business partner Nishide Seichajyo. This is hand-picked Kabusecha from Ujitawara. This is the finest tea made by Kenji Katsutani, who won the Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries Award at the Japan National Tea Fair.
The tea color is light and pale green and it is almost transparent. Delicate aroma and elegant and refreshing sweetness. It is a noble tea. The tea leaves are soft and beautiful green. I sprinkled ponzu on the used tea leaves and we ate them. It is a great pleasure to taste a special tea on a special day. We had a blissful time. Thank you very much.
We are planning to increase our lineup of Japanese green tea this year. In addition to the KOI tea bag series, we are planning to launch new organic leaf tea products this spring. All products will be produced at the historic Nishide Seichajyo's factory in Ujitawara.
The freshness is the life of Japanese green tea. The Matcha House will continue to do its best as Europe's premier Japanese tea supplier in order to deliver the freshest and finest Japanese tea to European customers. Thank you for your continuous support.
