Japanese Tea Ceremony in Madrid

From 27th to 30th May, The Japanese Culture Festival took place at The Royal Botanic Garden in Madrid. During 4 days, people enjoyed exhibitions of Ikebana (flower arrangement art), Suiseki (Japanese art of stone appreciation), and also several art performances such as Taiko (Japanese drum concerts), Kitsuke (Japanese kimono wearing
), Koto (Japanese traditional Music Instrument), Shodo(Japanese Calligraphy) and Cha_no_yu(Japanese Tea Ceremony).

The teacher, Eiko Kishi, explained how to prepare Matcha green tea and the manner in the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, and the art of its performance (it is called temae). She used selected ceremonial grade Matcha green tea whose name is PRACTICE MATCHA of The Matcha House brand. People enjoyed its blight green color and delicate and aromatic flavor.

In the same event place, the importar of that Matcha, The Matcha House Europe, offered tasting service to people of modern Matcha drink "MATCHA LATTE" and "MATCHA COOKIES" so that people could be familier with Matcha flavour.
