Matcha Green Curry

Matcha is not just for cooking sweets. Matcha is also used for salty dishes! Here we propose a new recipe: Matcha Green Curry! We are sure that you will like it!

Matcha Green Curry

Ingredients for 4 people

For Curry:
200g
skinless chicken breast
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 carrot
1 chopped large onion
1 tbsp minced ginger
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp of Curry powder
300ml water
2 bouillon cubes
1 piece of laurel
Salt
Pepper
1 tbsp of honey
150ml of cream
1 tablespoon Matcha
Cilantro

For Rice:
(quantity for cooking with rice cooking machine)
300g rice (blend of long grain rice, steamed rice, red rice and long black rice)
400ml water


Preparation of curry:

1.
Finely chop the onion. Cut the carrot and the chicken into small pieces too.
2. In a saucepan, heat oil and cook onion and carrot until the onion becomes transparent.
3. Add chicken, garlic and ginger. Cook 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
4. Add water, bouillon cubes, curry powder, honey and cook for 15 minutes.
5. Turn off and then add cream and Matcha and mix well. Add salt and pepper and correct the flavor as you like. Heat again for another 5 minutes.
6. Serve curry over hot rice and decolate with cilantro or parsley.
