Hello everyone! This blog is a collection of recipes with Japanese Green tea Matcha. It is not easy to cook Matcha in Europe because it is difficult to find fresh Matcha powder at reasonable price and it is not easy to find recipes using material which you can find easily in Europe. We are trying to introduce easy recipes with Matcha utilizing European ingredients and recommendable Matcha powder. "KOREKARA JAPON" is a charity event by Japanese artists living in Barcelona, who decided to do this event aiming at raising funds to send the affected area by Tsunami and for sending message of love and solidarity. During a month, they organize numerous activities such as exhibitions, workshops of traditional Japanese culture, concerts, selling handicrafts and Japanese sweets, among others. The inauguration took place on Thursday 6th March, 2014. There were exhibitions, a mini-concert, a flea market and more. The Matcha House participated on 21st March, giving a Japanese Green Tea workshop class.

In the Green Tea Workshop, we explained how to prepare Kabusecha and enjoyed Matcha sweets with premium Japanese Green Teas. Thanks to everybody, the workshop was successful. The tickets were sold out and we had a great time with all participants!  Thank you very much everybody. You can see more photos of the workshop here:

This year is The Matcha House's 5th Anniversary and we are planning to organize more workshops and other events during the year. We will keep you informed!
