Japanese Tea Ceremony in Madrid

This weekend, The Japanese Culture Festival took place at The Royal Botanic Garden in Madrid. During 4 days, people could enjoy exhibitions of Ikebana (flower arrangement art), Suiseki (Japanese art of stone appreciation), and also several art performances such as Taiko (Japanese drum concerts), Kitsuke (Japanese kimono wearing), Koto (Japanese traditional Music Instrument), Shodo(Japanese Calligraphy) and Cha_no_yu(Japanese Tea Ceremony). The tea ceremony teacher, Eiko Kishi, explained how to prepare Matcha green tea and the manner in the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, and the art of its performance (it is called temae), using our best Ceremonial Matcha. We offered our Iced Sencha and Sweet Matcha for visitors. Many people liked our tea and we were very happy. Thank you very much, Asociación de Ikebana de Madrid team, for inviting us to this event.
