Matcha Chocolate Sandwich

It was more than 10 years ago when I ate for the first time "Pan con chocolate" in Barcelona. Spanish people love this simple sandwich and a lot of children eat this bread in school and after school. When I first tasted this bread, I was impressed unexpectedly, because I did not imagine that it is be so delicious from its so simple aspect. I totally agree with Spanish people:  the chocolate bar is best for French bread. Solid chocolate bar is much better than melted chocolate for baguette.

Some years after, when I was cooking Matcha chocolate, I tasted this sandwich with Matcha chocolate. Oh!!! It was incredible, it was really good. Matcha's light bitterness fits to white chocolate's sweetness and the sandwich was really delicious. I ate 2 sandwiches. hahaha

It is very easy to make Matcha Chocolate. Please find below our recipe. For this recipe, we would recommend you our COOK MATCHA because its bitterness makes chocolate more delicious. If you want to get darker color, we recommend you our CHLORELLA MATCHA.

Ingredients:
(for 4 pieces of sandwich)

100g White Chocolate (Nestle Repostería)
8g     Matcha (we used COOK MATCHA)
1       pinch salt
1       French bread

Preparation:

1. Heat white chocolate (previously cut) in the microwave.
2. Once the chocolate melts, add Matcha powder and mix it well.
3. Add salt and mix it well.
4. In the silicone mold, extend chocolate.
5. Drop the mold on the table from 10 cm high a few times so that the surface is horizontally uniform.
6. Cool it in the refrigerator for more than 30 minutes.
7. Cut the chocolate into 4 pieces.
8. Cut the bread into 4 pieces and make 4 sandwiches.
