How to Make Matcha Ice Cream Without a Machine (with video)




Do you love Matcha green tea ice cream? Do you know that you can cook it at home? No ice cream machine is required for this recipe. You will only need 4 basic ingredients: Matcha green tea powder (we have used SOFT MATCHA), yolks, sugar and cream. Let us try!   次の週末、抹茶アイスクリーム作りはいかがですか? Ingredients:

200ml of cream 
50g + 30g of sugar
3 egg yolks *
10g of Matcha tea (we used SOFT MATCHA)
Hot water to dissolve Matcha 3 soup spoons

* it is important to buy the freshest eggs (in Spain please buy eggs that have a serial number starting with 1E)



Preparation:

1. In a small bowl, shift Matcha tea powder.




2. Add 3 tablespoons of hot water to Matcha. Mix well with a spoon.




3. In another bowl, put the eggs and beat them adding little by little 50g of sugar. Beat until it turns white.


4. In another bowl whip the cream adding 30g of sugar. Must be consistent.





5.  Mix all (2, 3 and 4), first using egg-beater and later using a silicone spatula. Mix all like cutting.





6. Put the mixture in a glass container and freeze more than 6 hours. No need to mix in the middle of freezing.

Powdered Green Tea for blending and cooking. 100% natural. Standard grade Matcha produced extra-finely to make beverages and ice cream. Ground by machine several times to obtain a more fine-grained powder. Suitable for all types of drinks, ice cream and pastries. This grade is actually used by a lot of cafeterias, bars and ice-cream makers.
