NODATE SET
With the collaboration of Yunatelier, a Japanese stamping artist, we have developed this new product - Aizome Nodate set (outdoor Matcha Set). Aizome, 藍染, is Japanese indigo - a dyeing tecnique. This color is loved worldwide with the nickname of "Japan Blue" .
Set contents:
Indigo color bag (Aizome)
Chasen (bamboo whisk)
Chawan (Matcha bowl) Hagi-yaki, handmade in Japan
Natural wood spoon, made in Japan
Empty can for Matcha
The following items are not included in the set and we recommend that you bring them with the set:
Matcha
Some sweets to accompany Matcha tea (dry and easy to carry)
Hot water in a thermos
Kaishi paper or Napkins
Preparation before leaving home:
1. Using a strainer, strain Matcha tea and place it in the empty can.
2. Boil water and put it in the thermos.
3. Prepare some sweets to take away.
When you arrive at your destination:
4. Take out all the tools and place the sweets on a paper or napkin.
5. We prewarm the bowl. Pour roughly 1/3 a cup of hot water into the bowl. Put the chasen (bamboo whisk) inside the bowl to prewarm as well.
6. Throw away the water.
7. Wipe bowl dry and place one scoop of the spoon of Matcha into the bowl (approx. 2g).
8. Pour hot water (approx. 70ml).
9. Agitate Matcha with the chasen.
10. Eat the sweet first.
11. And finally drink Matcha tea.
By following these steps, whether in the office, at home or in a park, you will be able to enjoy our Matcha tea anytime!
