| Nodate in the bamboo forest |
Today is Sunday. This morning we went to the Pedralbes Royal Palace to enjoy Nodate (Matcha picnic).
Even though we are in the winter, the plants were lush and the warmth of the sun was pleasant and we were able to enjoy a nice morning walk.
Inside the Garden, there is a small bamboo forest. We sat on one of the benches that were in the shadow of the bamboo forest and we prepared Matcha tea. Being inside the bamboo forest, it seems that we are in Japan or somewhere in Asian countries.
To accompany the Matcha tea, we have brought some mini taiyakis that we made this morning. We like these easy-to-eat Japanese sweets for the Matcha picnic. Nothing gets dirty and it is very comfortable.
While we were enjoying Matcha tea, many wild parakeets came to our bench and began to sing happily. That was a beautiful moment. There are many wild parrots living in the city of Barcelona. They have very beautiful green color body and they are very cute.
It was an hour walk, but we got home very satisfied and happy. Although it is a small city nature, we believe that touching and feeling nature is very pleasant and is very good for health.
Next time, we would like to go to Sagrada Familia to do Nodate. See you soon!
