Nodate in Barcelona Botanical Garden

Today is Saturday. This morning we went to Jardí Botànic de Barcelona to enjoy the Nodate (Matcha picnic).

It is a botanical garden located on the Montjuïc Park, southwest of the center of Barcelona. The origin of Monjuïc is said to mean "Jewish mountain" in medieval Catalan.

The theme of this botanical garden is plants with a Mediterranean climate. A collection of plants from countries with a Mediterranean climate around the world. Australia, Chile, California, South Africa, etc. This morning there were few people and I was able to enjoy the hike very slowly. There were rare cactus and large banyan trees, the almond blossoms were in full bloom and we enjoyed bees exhibition too.

From the top of the Montjuic hill you can contemplate the city of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a very nice sight. There are many benches and chairs in the park. It's so nice to be able to take a break and go for a walk. We also sat on one of these old wooden benches and enjoyed Matcha picnic.

It was an hour or so walk, but we got home very happy. Although it is a small city nature, we believe that touching and feeling nature is very pleasant and is very good for the body.

We will continue to enjoy Nodate. See you soon!
